The world’s first engagement & performance
software built for Remote teams
Who are we and our mission
We believe great employee relationships are critical ingredients of great results and retention. It becomes challenging but more important to build meaningful relationships and human connections when you work remotely.
With Covid, Remote is no longer an exception but a norm that every company is facing today. This is why we built Peoplebox - a first of its kind platform to help remote first companies like us or remote friendly companies make remote work successful.
We (Abhinav and Alagu) met with each other when we joined a hyper-growth health-tech start-up in 2014. In less than 2.5 years, the health-tech start-up grew phenomenally from 250 to 3000 employees. We too progressed from being managers to managers managing managers to finally managing large distributed teams.
We understood the challenges that companies face especially with remote and distributed teams, how it affects the culture, results and retention. Witnessing these first-hand, we decided to quit and founded Peoplebox with a simple mission - Build an app that helps managers become great leaders, especially when the teams are distributed
Fast-forward to present. 📆
When COVID-19 hit, it ignited the world's biggest work-from-home experiment ever, and accelerated the adoption of remote work by almost a decade! 👩💻
To make remote work successful - we believe there needs to be a product that solves relationships (human connect) and drives engagement throughout the entire remote employee experience; which is as useful as Slack and Zoom for a remote team. That’s what we are building at Peoplebox.
